PinChat is a Chrome extension designed to help users pin selected text from ChatGPT and Grok chats to a sidebar for easy reference. This privacy policy explains how we handle user data.

PinChat collects the following user data:

• Website Content: Text that you choose to pin from ChatGPT and Grok chats. This text is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s storage.local API and is not transmitted to any external servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data collected by PinChat is used solely for the purpose of displaying pinned text in the sidebar within the extension. We do not:

• Share your data with third parties.
• Use your data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s functionality (pinning text to a sidebar).
• Use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

3. Data Storage

All pinned text is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s storage.local API. You can remove pinned items at any time using the "Remove" button in the sidebar, and uninstalling the extension will clear all stored data.
